Tell us a little about your business/organization: how did it begin: where are your services/products, etc.
Locally owned agency within Goosehead Insurance offering most personal and commercial insurance options. Goosehead Insurance is the fastest growing independent broker in the United States, and was founded by Mark and Robyn Jones in Texas of 2003. They transformed the insurance industry by finding an easier way to shop for insurance. The goal was to offer clients the best agents with amazing technology to provide competitive pricing, optimal coverages, and exceptional customer service.

Tell us about your role in the business/organization.
I am an account executive, and my role is a risk advisor. As a am a licensed insurance agent who deeply cares for clients, making sure they are sufficiently covered and am determined to find insurance coverages that meet their individual needs. I listen to my clients and my referral partners needs and then use my ability to shop the insurance market to find the best coverage at the best price. It is my mission to make sure that everyone I know has the most comprehensive and cost-effective insurance solution on the planet, while providing the greatest service they can find. 

Tell us something that makes your business /organization unique.
We strive to be different than every other insurance company. We focus on what makes the most sense for our clients, and truly want to help them in the best way possible. We have the best technology and bring the best expertise to the industry. We are not your standard insurance agent. We are educators and risk managers. We provide the power of choice to clients and take a consultative approach to insurance. I like to put the fun in insurance! We take the burden of shopping a very difficult and cumbersome environment and make it easy for clients.  Clients need the professional advice we are able to offer – and as a risk manager – we work to protect our clients’ assets!

What do you see for the future of your business/organization?
I see Goosehead becoming as big as Amazon someday, and I believe we are well on our way to get there. We have over 2000 franchises around the country, and we are still growing. We have the local agent presence with the national feel. I see great things to come for the future of Goosehead, and I am so excited to be a part of it. 

How has the chamber helped your business/organization grow?
I am so grateful to the chamber! They have given me an opportunity to promote my business and create success while attending networking events and meeting a lot of wonderful new people. The chamber provides a means for business owners and members to share, grow, learn, and help each other out.

What is your best advice to other businesses/organizations?
I recommend that anyone read Atomic Habits by James Clear. This book has helped me immensely in my career. I try my best to follow the four laws of habit formation mentioned in this book that can help people establish new habits and break bad ones. This has helped me generate success one healthy habit at a time.
