Tell us a little about your business/organization:  how did it begin; what are your services/products, etc.

Holy Cross High School, opening in Fall 2025 in Dover, DE, was founded by a group of concerned and dedicated parents who wanted to ensure a future of quality Catholic education for their children and the community. In the inaugural year, we will welcome students in 9^th and 10^th grade.  Rooted in the Catholic faith and committed to academic excellence, Holy Cross High School will prepare students to grow as leaders of Character, faith, and service.  Fall of 2026-adding 11^th grade, fall of 2027 full high school program, 9^th-12^th grade.

Tell us about your role in the business/organization.
In my role as School Ambassador, I will partner with the President of the school to engage business, political, and community leaders to strengthen relationships, promote the school’s mission, and generate financial support.

Tell us something that makes your business/organization unique. 
We are proud to be the only Catholic high school serving Kent and Sussex County.  What makes us truly unique is our commitment to a classical education-an approach where all subjects are deeply interconnected, encouraging students to see the unity of truth, beauty, and goodness across disciplines.

Through this model, students not only master academic content but also develop the ability to think critically, reason logically, and appreciate the harmony between faith, history, literature, sciences and the arts.

What do you see for the future of your business/organization?
For the next two to three years, we will operate out of our temporary facility.  In the long term, our vision is to establish a new school on a 50-acre campus that will serve approximately 400-450 students.  The permanent campus will feature comprehensive facilities, including sports fields, a gymnasium, and dedicated spaces designed to support both academic and extracurricular excellence.

How has the Chamber helped your business/organization grow?
The chamber has played a vital role in our grand opening ceremony and in helping promote our school through your publications and events, and we are truly grateful for your support.

What is your best advice to other businesses/organizations?
Quality education is the foundation of a strong community.  By providing students with the tools, they need to succeed, we build an educated workforce that benefits local businesses and strengthens our entire community.
